College Showcase

Our athletes love spending time meeting you and learning about your program. They will be provided access to an App similar to this one with all of the details you shared as part of your registration.  The College Table Visits portion of the Combine will be located in the cafeteria, adjacent to the check-in area and The Dome, where all the combine activities will be taking place.

We know things come up but please make every effort to be at the combine. We have been heavily advertising your attendance on our social media platforms and some of these athletes are only attending the combine because a specific college is coming. Here are a few tips on what you'll want to bring for your table:

• Tablecloth with your college's name on it. If your school does not have this, any plain tablecloth will do.

• Items that will entice the athletes to visit your table- poms, uniforms, sneakers, gear, megaphone, trophies, etc.

• Interest sign-up sheet on paper or on an ipad/computer. If you have a recruitment form online you can also have athletes fill that out. The school does have public wifi but if you have a hotspot/mifi, it may be a good idea to bring that if you will be needing wifi.

• Don't be afraid to make your table look different! The athletes will remember it.

How many athletes do you expect to participate?

In 2024, we had around 275 athletes from PA, NJ, New England, Maryland, and other nearby states!  In just the first few days of publishing our Save the Date, we have collected around 50 "interest" emails.

Is there a charge for our participation?

No!  We just ask that if you do commit to attend that you please follow through on your commitment, as our athletes watch the growing list of committed colleges in making their decision to attend.

What are we expected to bring?

All you need are:

• Tablecloth with your school's name on it

• Anything you'd like to showcase at your table, such as awards, trophies, giveaways, etc.

• Clipboard

• Notepad

• Pen

We will provide you with a printout of athlete infomration when you check-in at arrival. 

Will we receive athlete contact information?

Yes, we will send a final electronic version of the athletes' information they provide during their registration at the conclusion of the event.  You will also have a hard-copy of this information provided to you.

What is the schedule expected to be?

We are still working on the 2025 logistics, but generally there will be time for the athletes to visit you in the College Showcase and dedicated time to evaluate tumbling, jumping, and group stunts.  
 

With almost 300 athletes expected up, we are going to do our best to move through the jump and tumbling portions as fast as we can to stay on time. We are planning to have the coaches sit in a lower section of the stands, but higher than the floor so that you have an elevated view of the athletes during this portion. Of course, if you would rather be on the floor, that is totally okay too.

For the stunting portion, you are free to come down to the floor and actively walk around. This will be treated much like an open gym. We are going to help put stunt groups together for those that don't have one, but the athletes are free to switch groups during this time if they would like. I know a few of you have mentioned bringing your athletes to stunt with some of the participants as well. We ask that you turn in their completed waiver (attached) to one of the CV Parent Volunteers when you arrive.

We will have a short "Coaches Q&A" session after the stunting showcase. We will be reading some general questions and looking for one of you to answer.

What grades are the athletes

A vast majority of the athletes will be in grades 10-12; a few may be younger, approved by exception.  Their bibs will be color coded and grouped with a number pattern to to help you identify their current grade level.
